The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is the central resource for postdoctoral training at Northwestern University. The office works with Northwestern postdocs, faculty members, and administrators to:
- Provide professional development resources and career advising for postdoctoral fellows at Northwestern
- Build a strong and interactive postdoctoral community
- Advise on postdoctoral training policies and guidelines

OPA Wire newsletter
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs distributes a newsletter every three weeks to all postdoctoral fellows at Northwestern. This OPA Wire newsletter includes information relevant to the postdoctoral community, including professional development, funding, and job opportunities and information about events and activities on campus. Postdocs are automatically added to the OPA mailing list upon arrival at Northwestern.
