Postdoctoral Opportunity: German Academic Exchange Service

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invites postdoctoral trainees to apply for this year's “Postdoctoral Researchers’ Networking Tour”. This program is a funded, week-long trip to Germany for postdocs working related to AI, The Internet of Things, Cyber-physical Systems and the Future of Manufacturing (“Industry 4.0”) and who are interested in job opportunities in Germany (academic and non-academic).
The funding covers:
- a practice orientated and diverse program to suit the requirements of the participants
- coverage of program related costs in Germany (accommodation, domestic travel, most meals)
- a lump sum travel allowance if such costs are not borne by a third party. This will also be provided if the stay is extended by up to five working days in order to allow for additional professional networking.
Dates of the tour: Sunday, September 22, 2019 – Saturday, September 28, 2019
