Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity - Transplant Immunology

The Transplant Immunology Laboratory is involved in cutting-edge research to identify the nature of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) epitopes and affect clinical decisions regarding donor-recipient compatibility for solid organ transplantation. The overreaching goal is to allow organ transplantation across what is currently considered HLA-mismatching by identifying acceptable mismatches that permit long-term good graft outcome.

They are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with expertise in cell-based assays, molecular biology, and flow cytometry. Experience in the HLA system, antigen processing and presentation and crystallography analysis are preferred. Enthusiastic candidates with a recent PhD are encouraged to apply. Candidates with no PhD degree but extensive knowledge in the above listed fields may be considered.
