Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity - Innate Immune Response and Colon Cancer

A full-time postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Elizabeth Eklund in the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University.

They are seeking a highly motivated individual to work in areas of the innate immune response and colon cancer. The successful candidate will join a collaborative research team within a dynamic research environment located in the downtown Chicago medical campus. Successful candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent degree with expertise broadly relevant to their research areas. Previous experience in molecular biology and protein chemistry are required, and proficiency in use of murine models of cancer or leukemia is recommended.

Successful candidates must be self-driven with the ability to work in a team environment. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to troubleshoot experiments. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing experiments, analyzing data, and working with the PI to design experimental approaches. The successful candidate will interact with clinical-translational investigators on pre-clinical approaches to colon cancer.
