They seek applicants with strong training in qualitative research methods, experience collecting data at the district and school level, expertise in policymaking and/or policy implementation, and familiarity with instructional policy. Knowledge of mathematics teaching and learning, early childhood education, teacher professional development, and/or quantitative/mixed methods is a huge plus. The postdoctoral fellow will participate in all phases of the project including development/revising of instruments, data collection, data analysis, providing feedback to district and school partners, and the publication of results. The principal investigator will encourage the postdoctoral scholar to develop publications that build on his or her emerging research agenda. The postdoctoral scholar must be able and willing to travel to research sites, work both individually and as part of a multi-campus team, and provide supervision to undergraduate and graduate research assistants.
