Lawrence Fellowship Applications Due October 1

The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory invites rising graduate students to apply for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's (LLNL) Lawrence Fellowship

The Lawrence Fellowship was established to provide extraordinary postdoctoral trainees an opportunity to pursue independent, ground-breaking research in a National Lab setting. The Laboratory is committed to making your experience at LLNL positive and rewarding.

This three-year fellowship is awarded to rising graduate students with uncommon talent, credentials, scientific track records, and potential for significant achievements. Typically, two to four awards are give each year. Fellows will propose creative and independent research in or or more aspects of science relevant to LLNL's mission. Research areas may include:

  • Chemistry
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Computer Science
  • Energy
  • Engineering
  • Environmental Science
  • Geoscience
  • Lasers
  • Materials Science
  • Physics
