A postdoctoral research position is available immediately in The Ohio State University Department of Surgery. The candidate should have a recent PhD in biological sciences and publications in muscle/heart biology, genome editing, or viral vectors, and the ability to work independently.

Research is primarily focused on studying the molecular basis of genetic myopathies and developing CRISPR genome editing therapy for these diseases.
