Postdoctoral Training Opportunity – Translational Science and Multiomics at The Vaughan Lab

The Vaughan Lab, based in the Department of Medicine, has 1 postdoctoral position open in translational science and multiomics of aging.

The Vaughan Lab's primary investigative focus is and has been on the mammalian plasminogen activator system and the role this system plays in cardiovascular disease and all aspects of aging. We apply a multidisciplinary strategy in this effort, and utilize molecular and cellular experimental approaches, while extending our investigations into animal models of disease and in distinct human populations.

The successful applicant will have an MD/PhD or PhD with interest and expertise in biology of aging and experience in the collection and analysis of epigenetic, transcriptional, metabolomic and proteomic datasets.

Interested applicants should submit a CV, cover letter describing research interests, and list of 2-3 references to Dr. Douglas Vaughan and Elizabeth Lux, d-vaughan@northwestern.edu and e-lux@northwestern.edu
