Postdoctoral Training Opportunity – AI & Security Issues
The McCormick School of Engineering and the Buffett Institute for Global Affairs at Northwestern University are seeking a postdoctoral scholar to work with Prof. V.S. Subrahmanian in the broad area of artificial intelligence (AI) and Security (beginning Fall 2022). This postdoc will work within the research group of Prof. Subrahmanian to study issues involving counter-terrorism, influence campaigns, cybersecurity, and more. The position will be in the Computer Science department within the McCormick School and the Buffett Institute.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline, a strong publication record, and a desire to work on globally important problems that have an interdisciplinary flavor. You will join a strong team of senior researchers, PhD students, and undergraduates. The position will start mid-late September 2022. If you are interested, please send your CV to Prof. V.S.
