Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - Tropical Archaeobotany

The Department of Anthropology at Northwestern University is seeking a 2-year postdoctoral trainee in tropical archaeobotany. Regional expertise in Africa is preferred, and applicants from the African continent are strongly encouraged. The trainee will be expected to contribute to the Northwestern Laboratory of Environment, Archaeobotany, and Food, focusing on the analysis of archaeobotanical samples from West Africa. No teaching is required.

The desired start date of the appointment is September 1, 2022, and all requirements for the PhD should be met by that date. Salary is competitive and benefits-eligible.
