Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - Transplant Immunology and Histocompatibility
The Tambur Laboratory has an opening for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study factors contributing to immunogenicity in the setting of solid organ transplantation. The lab focuses mainly on understanding HLA epitopes with emphasis on HLA-DQ. Enthusiastic candidates with a recent PhD and expertise in immunology, cell biology or molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Experience with histocompatibility or transplant immunology is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills and independent thinking. The lab offers excellent interaction with directors-in-training for the HLA lab as well as the cutting-edge clinical histocompatibility laboratory.
