Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - Theoretical and Computational Rock Physics
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Northwestern University is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical and computational rock physics. The successful applicant will work with Professor John Rudnicki on projects modeling frictional slip induced by fluid injection and on constitutive relations for frictional slip at elevated temperatures in connection with enhanced geothermal systems.
A PhD in a relevant field is required by the date of hire. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The position is full-time for 1 year with a salary of $52,000.
