Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - The Bevan laboratory
The Bevan laboratory is hiring two postdoctoral trainees to pursue research on the basal ganglia and their dysfunction in mouse models of Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease. The positions will utilize ex vivo/in vivo electrophysiological, optogenetic, chemogenetic, behavioral, and 2-photon imaging approaches.
Postdoctoral trainees will work in small teams with technicians, graduate students, and faculty. These positions are particularly suitable for those wishing to pursue advanced neuroscientific research either as a PI or team scientist in academia or industry. Related undergraduate/graduate research experience is preferred but extensive training and mentorship will be provided. Positions are available immediately and underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
