Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - Molecular Mechanisms of Uterine Fibroid Pathophysiology

A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. JJ Wei’s lab at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.  The candidate will join a dynamic research team to study molecular mechanisms of Uterine Fibroid pathophysiology.  

The Wei lab uses basic and translational research tools to establish disease models and to characterize molecular, histologic, and environmental factors for uterine smooth muscle tumors, combined with cutting-edge genomics to understand the genetic and epigenetic contributions of disease development and progression. 

Qualified candidates should be highly motivated and independent with strong interests in uterine biology, molecular biology, and genomics. An established track record of success, including first author publications, a PhD degree in related field(s) is a must. Excellent written and presentation skills and experience with cell culture, molecular biology, and bioinformatics are preferred.
