Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - Dispute Resolution and Research Center Fellowship

The Dispute Resolution and Research Center (DRRC) and the Management and Organizations (MORS) Department at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position. The primary criterion for acceptance is research excellence relevant to conflict or cooperation, broadly defined. The position is slated to start in August or September of 2021 and last for approximately two years. For more information on how to apply, visit their website. The deadline for applications is Monday, February 15, 2021.

Fellowship Prerequisites

Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in a social science discipline (e.g., organizational behavior, sociology, psychology, economics) — or in a related discipline that can inform the social sciences (e.g., a “big data” discipline) — prior to the beginning of the fellowship.

Position Details

The fellow position will conduct original research with one or more faculty members at Kellogg. As DRRC works closely with faculty in the management and organizations (MORS) department, applicants are encouraged to identify one or more MORS faculty members with whom they would be interested in collaborating. The fellow is expected to become actively involved in MORS and DRRC intellectual communities by regularly participating in colloquia, workshops and research seminars. The fellow is also welcome to audit Ph.D. courses.

Application Requirements

For full consideration, please submit (1) a current CV, (2) a research statement that makes clear how your work is relevant to conflict or cooperation, and (3) up to two publications or manuscripts. You will also be asked to provide the name and contact information for two to three people who will submit recommendation letters on your behalf.
