Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - Cancer Biology, Chen Lab
The Dr. Chen lab at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a self-motivated postdoctoral trainee to join their team. Current research in the lab focuses on studying how genetic and epigenetic regulation of cancer cells and cancer stem cells can shape the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, and reciprocally, how these infiltrating immune cells affect tumor progression and the effectiveness of immunotherapies. For more information on research projects in the lab, please refer to following publications (Cancer Discovery 10:371-381, 2020; Cancer Cell 35:868-884, 2019; PNAS, 114:580-585, 2017) and their webpage.
The ideal applicant will have recently received a doctoral degree (PhD or MD/PhD). Experience in cancer biology, tumor immunology and cancer genetics/epigenetics is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals. Interested applicants, please send your curriculum vitae, cover letter, and names and contact information of three references to Dr. Peiwen Chen.
