Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - Advanced Retinal Imaging Lab, Ophthalmology
The Advanced Retinal Imaging Lab in the Ophthalmology Department at Northwestern University - Chicago Campus is looking for individuals with a passion for science and medicine for an NIH-funded full-time research postdoctoral position. The lab uses novel imaging techniques to study the retinal vasculature, blood flow, and structure in a variety of retinal diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Lab members work in a collaborative environment with physicians, medical and undergraduate students and engineers to perform high-impact imaging research using cutting edge technology.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience working directly with patients in a highly productive medical research lab. Priority will be given to biomedical engineering graduates and postdoctoral trainees with a computer science, software and/or image processing background. Experience in retinal imaging research is preferred.
