Postdoctoral Training Opportunity - Kenneth L. Rodino, M.D. Postdoctoral Fellowship in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine

The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a postdoctoral scientist with interest and scholarly background in chronic pain, cancer pain, pain mechanisms, or clinical interventions to treat pain disorders to help build our clinical research portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities:

Research proposal and grant writing, running industry sponsored or federally sponsored trials, communicating with the Institutional Review Board (IRB), maintaining regulatory compliance. Experience in these areas is strongly encouraged and preferred.

Qualifications:

Qualified individuals should have a PhD degree in the behavioral or life sciences or a related field, obtained within the past five years. Candidates should have significant expertise working in statistical software programs and database software. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.
